All of our camps take place at Harris Academy Battersea, SW11 5AP unless otherwise stated. We have use of their blue astro turf football pitch, indoor heated swimming pool, two indoor sports areas and large outdoor playground. For some camps, we will also use the astroturf pitches at battersea park (only a short walk away).

Timings & Registration

Our multi-sports camp will take place from 9.30am – 2.00pm (other camp timings may vary). Drop off and collection will be on the blue astro turf pitches (please see map above). Each morning you will have to register your child by signing them in between 9.30am-9.45am and at the same time we will ask for the name of the person collecting your child that afternoon. Please note that if it is not the person named as the main contact for the child, they will have to provide identification before the child can be handed over.

  • Each child will be provided with a LDN Sports Stars t-shirt upon arrival.
  • We recommend tracksuit bottoms as astroturf pitches can be itchy or cause grazes.
  • Clean trainers or astroturf shoes (no studded footwear).
  • Dress for the weather, an under layer and gloves if cold or a sun cap if the sun is out.

What we provide

  • 12 hours of professional coaching over the week
  • Healthy drink and snack each day
  • LDN Sports Stars t-shirt

What your child needs to bring

  • Swimming kit (towel, goggles and swim wear).
  • Rain proof jacket.
  • Any medication they need (this will need to handed to their group leader each morning during registration).
  • A gum shield is recommended for tag rugby and shin pads for football.
  • Healthy and substantial packed lunch as the children will need the energy. We have a strict no nut policy.
  • Water bottle.

Each camp will have lots of staff on hand including our experienced and well qualified sports coaches, group leaders responsible for the welfare of the children and a management team responsible for the overall running of the camp. Every camp will have a designated lead first aider and all staff on site are DBS checked.

Safety of the children is our prime concern and to make sure that they are as safe as possible, we have a safe location with key fob entry to the building, a good ratio of staff to children (approx 1:8) and thorough risk assessments of each activity. Any water based activities will have a qualified lifeguard present and photography is only permitted by our official camp photographer.

For more information about a specific camp please contact us or for more general information please look at our FAQs below.

Do you have first aiders on site?

We will have a lifeguard based in the swimming pool at all times and at least one qualified pediatric first aider at each camp.

How are the children grouped and can they go with their freinds?

Children are grouped based on aged. If you have mentioned another child’s name on your registration form then we will do our very best to put them in the same group however we can not guarantee this especially if they are different ages.

  • Rain proof jacket.

  • Any medication they need (this will need to handed to their group leader each morning during registration)

  • A gum shield is recommended for tag rugby.

What happens if I need to cancel or my child is ill?

Please see our terms of business.

What happens if it rains?

We are lucky enough to have indoor and outdoor facilities so our camp will take place whatever the weather. We will try and keep the activities outdoor if possible so please provide a waterproof jacket.

What if my child has any medication?

All medication should be clearly labelled and handed in when registering on the first morning of the camp. All medication must be in date, otherwise children will not be allowed to take part. Group leaders will carry any medication so that it is always kept nearby and it will be handed back at the end of the camp.

What if we turn up late?

If you miss the registration period at the beginning of the day then please head to the normal registration area and a member of staff will assist you.

What should my child wear each day?

For a typical day, your child should wear tracksuit bottoms (not shorts, as astroturf can graze) , their SW sports stars t shirt which will be provided on the first day of the camp and a clean pair of trainers/astroturf boots (strictly no studed footwear).  Please apply suncream and provide a sun cap if it is aunny day. A waterproof layer should always be carried in a backpack and an extra layer if it is a cold day.

Will my child take part in all the activities?

Yes. Your child may not do all the activities each day but throughout the week, they will spend an even amount of time across all the activities.
